Equality for Change

Society has seen that men can do all the hard works and difficulties while women stay at home and do chores. In the antecedent years, they were known for being weak, soft-hearted and meek. On the other hand, men are known to be the fathers and the doer of almost all physical activities. They must look strong and hard as rock. Being men, one must not show any sign of weakness. Gender equality is a human right and each gender should be valued equally.
Inequalities between men and women mauled augmentation and prosperity. Discrimination in jobs and belittling of skills and powers. Abusing one’s weakness for pleasure and satisfaction, and stereotyping. These can be seen in a society wherein gender equality never exists in humankind. Each gender can be tortured by the lack of knowledge to there freedom and rights. Men are blinded by their power of strength and masculinity while women can be dumbfounded by being soft and dainty.
In today’s generation, mothers can be seen in offices and working, the same time as father can be found in houses doing chores and taking care of kids. Both genders being comfortable and happy on what they do. Setting aside their prides and manipulating their skills in which they are good at, and being free. The freedom of being equal in the eyes of public, nevertheless of the discrimination heard from others.
The equality of gender brought the world to its longing freedom. Humanity has seen its deserved rights for each of them. They are now free to act whoever they want to be, feminine or rough, dainty or hard, nothing matters as long as they are proud to be and happy.
However, gender equality can destroy the traditional roles of society. The courtesy of men offering a seat to a lady can be gone just because each gender treats each other the same. How many gentlemen can be left in this world? Women can no longer need men to provide her own family just because they can work without the discrimination of others. What about the thought of having a complete family. Both genders no longer need each other. They no longer find the opposite gender reverential as if they already know how to live alone.
Perhaps a lot would say that gender equality is useless, that it destroy and can change the society. But gender equality is the opportunity for other people to feel what they want to feel without pretending and covering up. Everyone has the rights to feel strong and sensitive just like men can act feminine without being labeled as gay and women can act rough without being labeled as a lesbian
